Overview

We're seeking a Recruiter to join our Talent Aquisition team supporting UnityPoint at Home! In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the strategic recruitment functions for Home Health, Home Hospice, Specialty Pharmacy for the Eastern part of Iowa and Western part of Illinois.

 

The Recruiter is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process; this entails sourcing and screening candidates, managing open positions, assisting hiring leaders through the interview process, facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a best in class experience. May work across all UPH affiliates and/or functional roles depending on business needs and optimization opportunities.

 

 

Location: Remote, applicants preferrably reside in the UPH geographical areas of Iowa, Illinois, or Wisconsin 

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; hours may vary and some travel may be required for role and recruitment related activities.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Establishes recruiting strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates for assigned positions.  
  • Leverages varied recruiting platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Social Media) and strategies (creative marketing, diversity outlets, recruiting events) to develop candidate pipeline and market UPH opportunities.
  • Facilitates position intake meetings with hiring leaders to confirm/calibrate position requirements and develop recruiting strategy.
  • Responsible for on-going process improvements in recruitment, onboarding, employment, and diversity.
  • Participates in community outreach as a representative of UnityPoint Health in the way of mock interviewing, resumes writing seminars, junior and high school presentations.

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

 

Education:

  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
    • Equivalent of Associates Degree with 3+ years of talent acquisition/recruiter experience.

 

Experience:

  • Required:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR with an emphasis on recruitment or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred:
    • Prior healthcare recruitment or staffing company experience.
    • Prior training and development experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
  • Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.
  • Multicultural sensitivity.
  • Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
  • Advanced reading, writing and oral skills.
  • Ability to utilize PC including, basic elements of Windows environment, keyboarding, work with mouse, and perform basic computer tasks with instruction.
  • Preferred:
    • Proficient in Lawson HRIS Systems.
    • Proficient in ICIMS Recruitment Software
