Manages and oversees a Nursing Department and their programs; plans, organizes and directs all department functions and activities. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to all customers. Maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, Philosophy of Nursing at UnityPoint Health with in the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers.

Education:
| Graduate of accredited nursing program | BSN degree preferred |
Experience:
| 2 years of Leadership/Administration experience.
Strong clinical background | Prefer one (1) year of hospital experience or demonstrated clinical and leadership efficiency. |
License(s)/Certification(s):
| Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
Must possess and maintain following: - BCLS - ACLS
