Responsibilities

Join our Internal Medicine team in Waukee, IA, where you’ll support providers in delivering high-quality care to adult and senior patients. As an LPN, you will assist with clinical procedures, patient assessments, and care coordination in a professional, team-oriented environment.

 

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical history

  • Assist with exams and minor procedures

  • Administer medications and vaccines per protocol

  • Perform phlebotomy and basic lab tests

  • Provide patient education and follow-up instructions

  • Document care in the electronic medical record (EMR)

  • Coordinate prescription refills and prior authorizations

  • Support patient flow and clinic efficiency

Qualifications

  • Active Iowa LPN license

  • CPR certification (BLS required)

  • Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills

  • Prior experience in internal medicine or outpatient setting preferred
