Responsibilities

Join our urgent care team in Sioux City, providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to patients with non-life-threatening conditions. As an RN, you’ll play a critical role in patient triage, assessment, treatment, and care coordination, ensuring our community receives efficient and effective care.

 

  • Triage and assess patients promptly

  • Administer medications and start IVs

  • Rooming, vitals and review of appointment
  • Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and rapid tests

  • Assist with procedures (wound care, splinting, I&D, etc.)

  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition

  • Educate patients on discharge instructions and medications

  • Document care accurately in the EMR

  • Support and oversee support staff as needed

  • Manage clinical phone triage when applicable

  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and compliant clinic environment

  •  

Qualifications

  • RN License to Practice, State of Iowa.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) / Mandatory Reporter.
