Job Summary:
The Clinic Administrator for the OB/GYN Clinic is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staff management, and administrative functions of the clinic to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. This role works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams to coordinate services, manage resources, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Direct and manage all operational aspects of the OB/GYN clinic, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and patient flow
Supervise front office and clinical support staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with providers to improve clinic efficiency, patient satisfaction, and quality of care
Oversee billing, coding, and revenue cycle processes to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements
Monitor inventory, order medical supplies, and manage vendor relationships
Develop and implement clinic policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
Address patient complaints and operational concerns in a timely and professional manner
Prepare reports for senior leadership and participate in strategic planning
Bachelor’s degree required; degree in business or healthcare management preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
Or, an equivalent combination of education and relevant operational experience.
2–3 years of leadership experience, preferably in clinical operations.
Experience in personnel, facility, financial management, and budgeting preferred.
Knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, collections, ICD-9/CPT coding.
Process improvement experience strongly preferred.
Strong skills in supervision, communication (verbal and written), computers, and interpersonal relations.
Ability to take initiative, solve problems independently, and make sound decisions.
Knowledge of patient relations, personnel administration, and healthcare policies.
Team-oriented with the ability to interpret and apply organizational guidelines and procedures.
