Responsibilities

Job Summary:
The Clinic Administrator for the OB/GYN Clinic is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staff management, and administrative functions of the clinic to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. This role works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams to coordinate services, manage resources, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage all operational aspects of the OB/GYN clinic, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and patient flow

  • Supervise front office and clinical support staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations

  • Collaborate with providers to improve clinic efficiency, patient satisfaction, and quality of care

  • Oversee billing, coding, and revenue cycle processes to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements

  • Monitor inventory, order medical supplies, and manage vendor relationships

  • Develop and implement clinic policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Address patient complaints and operational concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Prepare reports for senior leadership and participate in strategic planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in business or healthcare management preferred. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Or, an equivalent combination of education and relevant operational experience.

  • 2–3 years of leadership experience, preferably in clinical operations.

  • Experience in personnel, facility, financial management, and budgeting preferred.

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, collections, ICD-9/CPT coding.

  • Process improvement experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong skills in supervision, communication (verbal and written), computers, and interpersonal relations.

  • Ability to take initiative, solve problems independently, and make sound decisions.

  • Knowledge of patient relations, personnel administration, and healthcare policies.

  • Team-oriented with the ability to interpret and apply organizational guidelines and procedures.
