Responsibilities

The Radiologic Technologist (Clinical Care Attendant) supports efficient patient care and clinic operations in our fast-paced Express Care Clinic in Waukee, IA. This hybrid role combines front and back office responsibilities with diagnostic imaging, working closely with Providers and clinical staff to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.

 

  • Perform diagnostic imaging and operate radiologic equipment following safety protocols

  • Conduct quality control checks and ensure radiation protection standards are met

  • Check in patients, verify information, and collect/update medical history

  • Room patients, take vital signs, and assist with clinical documentation

  • Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms; sterilize instruments as needed

  • Relay messages between patients and Providers; assist with paperwork and patient communications

  • Maintain logs and clinic records, including equipment and medication checks

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology

  • ARRT certified or eligible; Iowa limited x-ray permit required

  • BLS and Mandatory Reporter certifications (required)

  • Valid driver’s license (if job duties require travel)
