Registered Nurse – Clinic Specialty: Infusion Center (Methodist; may float to Lutheran Infusion Center) UnityPoint Health – Des Moines

Shifts Available:

• Full-Time Days: 32 hours/week

• Part-Time Days: 20 hours/week

Sign-On Bonus:

• Eligible for full-time position: $5,000, paid over one year

As a valued member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse applies professional nursing knowledge and skills to deliver and manage care for patients and their families in the Infusion Center setting.

Maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, Philosophy of Nursing at UnityPoint Health within the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers. Successfully functions as a Registered Nurse as defined in Iowa Nursing Regulations and Practice Act. Provides nursing care for patients and families and maintains a practice environment that reflects the ANA Code for Nurses, Philosophy of Nursing at UPHDM within the structure of the Professional Nurse Practice Model and in collaboration with other care givers. 

Education:

• Current Iowa license to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Bachelors degree preferred 

Experience:

• 6 months of hospital clinical experience or demonstrated clinical efficiency
• Chemotherapy infusion experience preferred

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire
• Successfully complete department specific certifications within one year of hire date
• Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
