Full Time - 8:00AM-4:30PM with on-call rotation

 

 

Community Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. In this critical role, you will ensure the hospital's facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained, supporting a clean and efficient environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for general building and grounds maintenance
  • Duties will include landscaping, mowing, and snow removal; a variety of mechanical, plumbing, and structural maintenance; inspecting and repairing facilities and equipment; operational knowledge of equipment and machinery including but not limited to power tools, lawn equipment, compressors, engines, pumps and generators; other duties as assigned.
  • Candidate will have on call responsibilities and must be able to respond within 30 minutes.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical experience in a business environment required
  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, boilers and electrical preferred     
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid Iowa Driver’s License
