Assists with procedures requiring the supervision or performance of a Registered Nurse. Uses independent judgment, ingenuity, initiative and collaboration in meeting the departmental needs in the performance of diagnostic procedures. Consistently utilizes a holistic approach (considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, education safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in the assigned service area).
Current Iowa RN license. Previous similar unit experience preferred. Excellent communication, organizational and critical thinking skills
Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. Responsible for the delivery of patient care, in coordination with other health care team members, according to the patient care delivery model of the unit. The patients to be served include infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
