Responsibilities

  • Provide and Educate on Respiratory Equipment – Set up and instruct patients on the safe use of respiratory equipment per physician prescription, ensuring quality care and proper documentation.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Patient Support – Assist in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of respiratory equipment, select cost-effective supplies, and proactively prevent adverse events.
  • Communication and Compliance – Maintain timely communication, attend meetings, and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a State Board approved program for Respiratory Therapy and valid license as a Respiratory Therapist.   
  • Credentialed as a CRT/RRT. 
  • Mandatory Reporter: Child & Dependent Adult Abuse. 
  • CPR Certification. 
  • Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or organizational requirements.
