Shift: Days 6:30am-7:00pm (24 hours/week), also includes working every third weekend & every other holiday
3 East is a 27-bed Medical Surgical unit that provides an enriching learning experience. We care for patients with a variety of diagnoses including respiratory, gastroenterology, endocrinology, infectious disease, and stroke. 3 East utilizes innovative care delivery to help provide holistic care to our patients by utilizing advancements in technology partnered with fundamental nursing care. 3 East offers opportunities to advance critical thinking skills and nursing autonomy within our multidisciplinary team. We utilize evidence-based practice to make a difference in our patient care.
Provides clerical support for staff. Delivers and obtains information, specimens, and supplies within the facility. Contributes to a holistic approach to the delivery of services, improved patient care, and a high level of satisfaction from patients and families.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Unit clerk experience or experience in a medical office setting preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s): Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Writes, reads, comprehends, and speaks fluent English. Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheets, email and web browser.
