LPN Visit Pediatrics
Part time .50 (20 hours a week)
Days, varied Mon-Fri
Day shift can be scheduled anywhere between 6a-6p; might be 8,9, 10, 11 or 12 hour shifts (based on client need).

As a Pediatric Home Care LPN with UnityPoint at Home, you’ll work one-on-one with children and their families to develop the care plan that is right for them. Our pediatric nurses make it possible for patients to receive the care they need where they’re most comfortable – in their homes
Ped Nurses provide skilled nursing care to pediatric-young adult patients with special health care needs for shifts of time in the patient’s home. Perform prescribed activities directed under the patient’s physician’s care which may include; patient assessments, feedings, respiratory system management, medication administration, activities of daily living, and therapy programs. Assist in care coordination with care team. May be responsible for transportation of patient.
Graduate of State Board approved program for Licensed Practical Nurses and valid license Licensed Practical Nurse.
CPR Certification.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as a collaborative team member.Integrated Care Management (ICM) certification or successful completion of certification within one year of employment.
Valid Mandatory Reporter course completion by state(s) requirement
Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or organizational requirements.
Maintenance of an acceptable driving record (i.e., no “OWI” convictions in last 7 years or no more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years). An unacceptable driving record may result in suspension, termination or transfer to another position not requiring the ability to drive.
