2 North is a 30-bed medical-surgical unit that provides acute care services to inpatients and observation patients. The unit specializes in Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology, and Abdominal Surgery. 2N also can care for patients requiring remote telemetry. Our patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and aging adult.

Plans, directs, facilitates, and evaluates clinical services provided by the nursing unit. The result of successful performance in this position is a highly motivated coordinated staff who provide service which is constantly changing to meet the needs of the clients.
Three years experience as a clinical nurse or two years management experience in the specialty area. Current Iowa License to practice as an RN. Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred (if without a Masters, must be willing to begin a course of study to obtain the degree within 5 years).
