The Emergency Department specializes in emergency medicine and operates 24 hours a day. The department sees a variety of patients from newborns to geriatrics who come by ambulance or walk in. the Emergency Department provides the initial treatment and stabilization of patients who come with a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries, some of which can be life threatening.
The Emergency Department Unit Clerk is the communications coordinator and is responsible for clerical work on the unit. Successful performance contributes to a holistic approach to the delivery of services, family-centered care and a high level of satisfaction from team members, patients and families through excellent customer service.

| Previous clerical experience. Able to type accurately. Experienced in Microsoft Office application software.

| Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills. |
