Responsibilities

  • Provide Direct Patient Care – Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, ensuring safe and effective patient care to improve function, mobility, and overall well-being.

  • Document and Communicate Patient Progress – Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, report patient responses to treatment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

  • Promote Quality and Compliance – Adhere to clinical best practices, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements while participating in case conferences, training, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of State Board approved program for Occupational Therapy Assistants

Experience:

  • Minimum CNA 75 hour
  • One year experience in a health care field

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • ICM Certification
  • Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state(s) and/or organizational requirements.
  • Mandatory Reporter: Child + Dependent Adult Abuse.
  • Person Centered Care (PCC) course completion within the first 12 months of hire + annual completion of competency validation activities.
  • CPR: Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Card with Re-certification
