HME Equipment Technician - Delivery and Set up

ENTRY LEVEL - TRAINING PROVIDED

Fort Dodge, IA

Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM - on call weekends and evenings. 

 

Responsibilities

Delivers and sets up or picks-up equipment from patient homes, hospitals and other health care facilities. Cleans, checks, troubleshoots, and performs minor repairs and maintenance on equipment related to job requirements. Assists in the provision of quality equipment and supplies to patients/clients in the most cost-effective manner. Maintains a detailed audit trail of all equipment transactions that have been received, delivered or disposed.

Qualifications

  • High School or Vocational School graduate or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous computerized practice management/billing system experience.
  • Knowledge of industry specific rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of personnel administration and patient relation principles.
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
  • Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures
