The Laboratory Manager is responsible for operations, planning, organizing, maintaining, and controlling of laboratory
functions within service, quality, and financial guidelines. The Laboratory Manager is a key figure in ensuring that timely
and accurate clinical diagnostic information is provided to healthcare professionals so that patient care and customer
service is of the highest quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory
science, medical technology or chemical,
physical, or biological science.
Masters preferred
Experience: Three years of clinical experience.
License(s)/Certification(s): MT, or CT certification required. Specialist Degree preferred. (SH ASCP,
SC ASCP, SBB ASCP, SM ASCP, SV
ASCP)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent
English.
Other: Must be able to operate utilize laboratory,
analytical, processing, and personal
computer equipment.
