As a valued member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, the Speech Pathologist provides high-quality, patient-centered care through thorough evaluations and individualized treatment planning. The role offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations—from pediatrics to geriatrics—across neurological and orthopedic settings. In addition to direct patient care, the Speech Pathologist educates patients and families, contributes to collaborative care conferences, maintains accurate electronic documentation, and mentors Speech Therapy students and Rehabilitation Aides.
