Environmental Services Lead
Full Time; FTE 1.0
2nd Shift; 2:45pm - 11:15pm
Rock Island, IL
Performs work of routine difficulty in a variety of cleaning tasks that involve use of hazardous chemicals, heavy lifting, and exposure to patients (including blood and body fluids). Daily cleaning of patient rooms (plus transfer and discharge), and precaution room cleaning, Completes a variety of set-ups and special events per departmental requests.

Must have knowledge of Environmental Service/ Janitorial duties and responsibilities. Be able to accept, demonstrate, and perform new responsibilities assigned to the Patient Support Services Department. Must be able to exhibit tact, good judgment, honesty, and a high sense of responsibility when dealing with guests and peers. Must be able to read and write English. Works with personnel, employee records, inspection records, regulatory agencies, purchase orders, work schedules, and computers. A leader – guides and directs the Environmental Service staff.
Must be able to read, speak and understand English to use chemicals and to communicate with customers. Must be able to operate hospital computer. Must be able to use a ladder.
