Performs phlebotomy duties and all routine technical procedures following technical protocols as allowed by CLIA ’88 using the principles of quality control.  Answer questions and provide teaching to patients and family members.

Performs phlebotomy duties and all other routine technical procedures following technical protocols as allowed by CLIA ’88 using the principles of quality control in the laboratory setting.

Answer questions and provide teaching to patients and family members.  

• Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants or Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses.
• Current CMA certification through one of the of the following credentialing body; AAMA, AMT, NCCT or NMA.
• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa/Illinois for Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Previous lab and clinical experience.
• BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.
• Computer data entry experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.
