We are looking for a full-time RN to join our Cardiology team! Work hours will be days, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, for 80 hours per pay period.
Functions as a clinician, educator and resource for patients within their specialty of care and up to their licensure in scope of practice. Facilitates all facets of the patient referral process and pre-authorization of insurance payments prior to appointments.

Basic UPH Performance Criteria

Education:
| · Current RN licensure to practice as a registered nurse · CPR certification · Mandatory Reporter Certification |
· BSN degree |
Experience:
| · Two (2) years or more working in a critical care clinical setting

· Three (3 years) previous clinical experience · Experience with insurance verification/pre-authorizations · Basic knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and International Classification of Disease (ICD-10) coding |
License(s)/Certification(s):
| · Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa · Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons · Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three months from date of hire · Mandatory Report Certification
