Provides child care services which meet the developmental needs of each child. Consistently communicates with each child’s parents to ensure that quality care is being given and the child/family needs are being met. Works effectively with other team members. The teacher follows hospital, department and Department of Human Services policies and procedures. Successful performance contributes to a positive work environment for UnityPoint employees.

Basic UPH Performance Criteria
Education:
| Required two year degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or other Education related field. | Four year degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or other Education related field. |
Experience:
| If you have a degree (associates or baccalaureate) outside of the early childhood field, must have three years of experience in an NAEYC Accredited program. Or if three years’ experience is in a non-accredited program, must have 30 contact hours of relevant training during the past three years.

| Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. | Child Development Associate certification preferred. |
