Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Department, students, hospital staff and physicians.

Educates and protects all customers entering the magnetic field.

Assists with sedating and monitoring of patients.

Assists in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.

Assists with quality assurance processes.

Balances team and individual responsibilities, objective and open to other's views, gives and welcomes feedback, contributes to positive team goals, puts success of team above own interest.

Demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations.

EDUCATION: Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. Pass the ARRT and have Iowa Permit to Practice, prior to hire. Maintain yearly CEU requirements. Must be able to read, speak and write fluent English.

EXPERIENCE: MRI experience, preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist or eligible. Current Iowa Permit to Practice. ARRT MRI Board Certification, preferred. CPR certified.
