·Collaborates with occupational and physical therapists, nursing team, and speech pathologists to implement appropriate interventions per patient condition.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Aide training program.

OR

Current enrollment in an accredited school of nursing and have completed at least one semester of clinical experience. Must remain clinically active in his/her nursing program.

OR

Current enrollment in an accredited school of Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) program. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Must remain clinically active in his/her educational program.

High School graduate or GED equivalent

Experience:

License(s)/Certification(s):

Successful completion of the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) approved Nursing Assistant competency examination to achieve CNA certification.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Writes, reads, comprehends, and speaks fluent English.

Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.

Other:

Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.

Work may occasionally require travel to other UPH facilities/hospitals.

Required to drive your own vehicle for business purposes.
