We are looking for a full-time Manager of Cardiovascular Services to join our team. Work hours will be days, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with the ability to flex to other shifts as needed, for 80 hours per pay period.
Responsible for daily operations of the assigned cardiovascular departments utilizing quality, cost effective patient care principles. Demonstrates the attributes of Servant Leadership, communicates exceptionally, and motivates others to achieve outcomes through work with multidisciplinary teams. Serves as chief recruitment and retention officer for the departments and works in collaboration with service line leadership to identify areas of improvement regarding practice, policies and processes. Collaborates with physicians/offices and other health care workers. Demonstrates effective leadership skills and role models UnityPoint FOCUS values. Manages and/or assigns appropriate personnel to operate the day-to-day workflow. In advance; reviews schedule and then effectively communicates with the teams to ensure correct instruments, supplies and staffing requirements are met. Successful performance of these expectations will contribute to an increase in quality care, patient/family satisfaction and positive department outcome measurements.
