12 month contract (Mon-Fri, occasional weekends), Days, occassional Evenings
Provides didactic, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction and supervision of students consistent with established standards of care. Provides leadership and assistance to faculty and students in designated course(s) and with nursing education pedagogy. Assists with program planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and revision. Additional responsibilities include the assistance with maintenance of program accreditation.

Education: | Master’s Degree in Nursing One of the following:
*Effective in 2015 after Academic Rank and Promotion policy change 2014 | Preferred Education: Earned doctorate degree |
Experience: | 2 years in clinical nursing experience 4 years nursing education experience *4 years of leadership or administrative functions at the department chair level or above *Prior to 2015: 10 years of experience in nursing education | Three years in nursing education as Assistant Professor. |
