Shift Differential: $5.00/hour between 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; $7.50/hour between 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM **(at minimum of 4 hours worked)**
Weekend Differential: An additional $7.50/hour between Fridays at 11:00 PM - Mondays at 7:00 AM
Under the supervision of the Lead OR Nurse and/or the Director of Surgical Services the Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. Has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and constantly maintains the integrity of the sterile field.
COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Requirement: It is required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza. Exemption requests based on medical or religious reasons may be submitted, but must be approved for active employment.

Key Accountability
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology, or Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with equitable experience with documentation of similar training.
Experience: Experience in an ambulatory or hospital surgery setting or equivalent surgical knowledge.
License(s)/Certification(s): BCLS, Mandatory Reporting, ability to sit for surgical technologist certification. Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Prefer ability to sit for certification exam
