Under general supervision performs professional duties in the application of Diagnostic Radiology services. Demonstrates proficiency in performing all Radiology exams, but primarily those performed in the operating room.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Graduate of JRCERT approved school for Radiologic Technology. Previous experience as a Radiologic technologist is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & SKILLS: Broad experience and varied technical expertise, initiative, independent judgment, interacts well with people, possesses ability to supervise, is responsible and has knowledge of and abides by rules of regulatory agencies. Some clerical and computer knowledge is required.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Must be registered by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or be registry eligible and sit for the boards within 6 weeks. Must have a current license from the State of Illinois Emergency Management Agency and/or the Iowa Department of Public Health. CPR certification required.
